The Miami Herald reports that Miami Marlins pitcher Livan Hernandez has filed for bankruptcy.
Hernandez owes $1 million to 50 creditors and also owes back taxes to the IRS. The article states Hernandez’s debts are “mainly consumer-style IOUs to businesses like credit card companies.”
Even MBA All Stars can have money problems and require debt help. While Hernandez has a team of attorneys to assist him as he files for Chapter 13 bankruptcy, everyday people can contact a Licensed Insolvency Trustee, like Harris & Partners for debt help and advice, as well as other bankruptcy services.
